Default Winter build.... thoughts or advice ?

Winter sure is expensive. I have decided to "better" my car over the winter and this is the list of things I have planned. Although for some reason I always seem to get to into the work and forget to take many pictures I am going to try and document the build this time.
In the meantime this is a list of what I am doing. I am sure I have forgotten a few things. Any expert advice is always nice to listen to.

The stuff marked "as before" is staying with me, and everything else is being added.

LME LS402 short block 9.9 to 1 compression
Caillies Dragonslayer Crank
Caillies Ultra Billet H beam rods
Wiesco coated pistons -15cc

Edelbrock 245 WCCH heads (as before but being redone)
Ferrea 6000 intake valves
Ferrea Super Alloy exhaust valves
Brian Tooley Dual Valve springs

LS9 head gasket
Comp Ultra Roller Tip Rockers (as before)
Morel Link Bar Lifters
C5R Timing Chain (new sprockets and damper)
ATI Super Damper
Melling oil pump (ported by LME)
ARP Crank bolt
ARP Flex plate bolts
ARP head bolts
Camshaft Lockiing plate
Cam 226/246 610/637 119+3
Eforce supercharger (as before) with 3” pulley
Circle D triple disc 2600 stall converter
Transmission rebuild. (wont get into details as its covered elsewhere)
Hinson Engine and Transmission Mounts
B&M Transmission Cooler with fan
Kenne Bell BAP
Alky Control System (as before)
ID 850 injectors (as before)

Is there a goal you have in mind?

With those mods, 9s should be doable I would think.

It was running consistent mid 10's as it was. I would like it to run consistent high 9's. The real goal is to run somewhere in that area (+/-10 seconds) without worrying if the motor is going to blow up every run. Just a nice 9 second, reliable street car with A/C.
Not asking for much.

You and I have similar goals--daily driven 9 sec car

I think you'll be right on track and I look forward to hearing about the progression.

Not much to report here as of yet. I spent some time cleaning parts and I installed the BAP. The transmission should be ready within a few days and I will install that and the cooler next week, and then we wait for the motor.

Small update...

Slow progress around holiday time but I spent the afternoon getting things in order....

Put on the Hinson trans mounts and hope to put the trans back in next week..

Welded AN fittings on transmission lines.. from there I will run braided lines to the cooler....

Pressure washed the engine bay....

Modified and fit the Moroso tank which will replace the Eforce coolant tank for more capacity...

Some extras....
The shop truck... for faster deliveries...

Another vette in the shop... 2006 ZO6 getting an LSX427 with ECS supercharger kit... Not finished tuning yet but so far 760 RWHP..

Another update... Its a good thing it's winter so that it doesnt bother me that everything takes so long.
My heads will be ready next week and my short block in a few weeks. Then the fun really begins.

Today I finished the trans cooler install....ran braided lines from front to back...

Since I never use the eforce side covers, I figure maybe a nice black wrinkle finish on the valve covers will tie in better with the black of the eforce...

Sounds like a good plan.

One thing I couldn't see with the tranny cooler location, was how the airflow (inlet/exhaust) was being handled. Got any pics of that?

Inlet is no issue as the brake duct inlet goes right to the cooler. I will leave off the tube leading to the brakes. I don't track the car and brake heat is not an issue. As for exhausting the air I don't think its an issue as its far from airtight there, but if I find it is I will just put some slanted vents into the liner. Right behind the cooler.

I had airflow problems when I did a rear mount and it looks like you are in a more confined space. Keep a close eye on the tranny temps until you get comfortable they'll be where you need it. My current problem is getting the temps high enough in the winter.

Good advice. I will keep an eye on it carefully until I'm satisfied the temps are where I want them. I think if you look at your car you will see this should work great. The hole under the fog light will direct air right to the cooler. It will exit where the tube to the brake area would be as I'm not putting that tube back. I considered rear mounting but decided against it exactly for that reason. No airflow.
