Have a 2006 corvette base. It's automatic. I'm looking to put on a supercharger and blower cam with bolt ons. Couple of questions.
Should I get engine and tranny mounts?
I was told yes and no on the engine/tranny mounts. Someone said i should since the stress from the HP wouldn't be good for the car, then another said it wouldn't Be a DD car since I would feel all the vibrations.
Should I get head work done?
Again someone said it would do better since I'm having a cam, then another said it wouldn't be worth it since I'm already going past the motors limit. I'm really concerned. Especially hearing that I'm going past the motors limit.
I am getting a torque converter And upgrading the rear end as well. Please give me any input or advice or what you would do.
I want this to be a DD and won't be racing it much, only when a Ford tries to show off
Thanks,
Jack

Who told you to change mounts? Dallas Performance installed a Procharger on my car over 2 years ago. I do not believe you are going past the motors limits. Mine is a DD and I have never had problems with any mounts. Call Taylor Sims at Dallas Performance and he will help you. Good Luck.

We have literally 100's of cars on the road with over 700rwhp with just our base supercharger kit, headers, and meth injection. IMO heads/cam etc are needed unless preferred by the owner.
