Z51 replacement $400 (deal) OEM $500+ and still high oil temps with a modded engine.
Cure
Setrab cooler
-10 Tstat
s/s hose -10 fittings
custom -10 oil cool adapt
fab bracket
$500
Base aftermarket radiator $165
Re-cal fan speed for 204' temp target $0

results- oil temps never over 203' ... coolant temps never over 217'

Your thoughts?

I did a Z07 radiator with a 2008 Z06 oil cooler. Oil temps about the same, but water temp stays around 200 on a 90 degree day.

Not sure what you mean by modded, but I have a 540+ at the wheels, 416" LS3.

I would love to see some install pics. I am having cooling issues on my build as well. I am looking at doing an external Setrab cooler over the winter. I see constant 245/250 engine oil temps when its 80 plus degrees ambient temp outside.

Yup, I'm putt'n down around 490whp with an LS2. OE Z51 rad ain't cutting it .

Thanks. Unfortunately with the transmission cooler that I have I do not have any room where it looks like your oil cooler is installed, Looks like ggod work though.
