Default Battery tender

I have a 2013 Grand Sport and bought a battery tender. The instructions say to connect it to the battery terminals. My car has a remote positive away from the battery. This is where I would connect the leads if I want to jump start the car. Should I also use the remote for the tender or should I connect direct to the battery? Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't think it matters either way, I have always connected my tender directly to the battery

I just connect directly to the battery term's but others use the remote location. Not an issue either way.

I have a 2007 Z06 and I use the remote terminals under the hood. It works great.

I used ring terminals to connect mine to the remote + terminal under the hood and the - to the engine block. From there I ran a 12' extention under the air bridge down to the left front of the spliter. That way I never have to raise the hood to connect or disconnect the tender.

If you generally front-in your garage, connect it under the hood, and if you typically back-in, connect to the battery. Under the hood is easier, actually, and you can close your hood with it connected if leaving it undriven for a while.
