Default How to keep car in run position

having a 2008 Z and a key fob how would you keep the car in the run position without starting the engine to test voltage to engine and related items

If I understand you correctly you just want to turn the ignition on to do some testing without the engine running. Just place your fob om the console and press the green start button without depressing the clutch and your ignition and all the indicator lights will come on and you can test away !! Hope this helps !!
