They look sweet! Just seeing if anybody has these? I had kooks on my last vette. Very tempted...motor is stock now. Love the sound of headers. Would tri-y be louder than 4 into 1 or not?
Thanks
I got my 12 gs tuned today . With hall tech super bee 103 and Pfadt headers I picked up close to 60 hp . I bought mine from Blair @ pfadt . I'm satisfied in fit , finish , sound and performance . If you got the extra money I don't think you would have any disappointment . I work for a kooks dealer

Can you post before and after dyno graphs? The tune alone will account for 15 rwhp or so, but those are still great numbers!
I've spoken w/ Pfadt & a 2 install shops @ installing them myself (prior to a tune) & Pfadt's install instuctions are also excellent. Although Blair confirmed, & RPM reiterated, I'll need to drop the engine cradle/lift the engine to install...just not thinking I want to do that. I really like the 1-piece xpipe, & overall fit/finish of the system though.
I work at a Chevy dealer . We have installed two set of these pfadt headers . Installation is a breeze , put the car on a lift unbolt from heads . Mine being a grand sport the dry sump lines have to be unbolted and slid over til the headers are in place then tighten them back up . It's very simple and it only a few hour job your first time . I will try and post a dyno sheet . The same or similar result others are having with the headers and super bee 103 . Again we sell kooks , I like these better .
So BOO666 you are saying no need to lift engine or drop engine cradle to install the Pfadt headers? Just want to be sure as I am considering buying a set and doing my own install at home with a lift.
I'd like to know this too...I'm getting the feeling the install guys lower the cradle/raise the engine just to make their job easier, & not scratch customer headers, but I've a hunch it's not actually necessary...?

I needed to raise the engine a few inches to clear the starter putting the pass side Pfadt header in. All you have to do is take off two nuts then raise the engine. Not a big deal.

I PROMISE you it is super easy. It sounds daunting but it really is not and can be accomplished buy anyone in their garage on jack stands. Check out this post from SgtMjrUSMC

Edit:
For reference here is a picture I took during install of one of the engine mounts from underneath. Driver side went in without raising the engine. Wasted half an hour trying every angle with the passenger side and it isn't going in without raising the engine AND removing the two dry sump lines, in my opinion. There just isn't the clearance on that side.
I first unscrewed the nut to the bottom of the bolt and raised the engine until the nut touched metal, it still wasn't enough room. Took the nut all the way off and raised the engine until the pointed bottom end of this bolt was just below the bottom of the hole. So all in all you aren't raising it very much really but if you don't have it high enough you will know, raise it some more. The intake did touch the cowel, no damage . So really you at most you are rasing it less than the visible part of the bolt you see here to include what the nut is covering...It might not seem like a lot but you need that little bit of clearance to get around the starter on that side.

Boo, thanks for being a customer. Glad you are sharing your thoughts and we appreciate the comments. Let me know if there is anything we can do for you in the future!
I'll be able to tell you how they do on my LS3 car on the 31st. I'm getting the catless version and using a Z06 axleback. With a Callaway cold air intake and ported LS3 manifold.
