Default Corsa Exhaust

I just picked up my 1st Vette about a week ago. It is stock. Everyone I have talked to says to go with Corsa for my exhaust. I am trying to get some input. I found a Corsa exhaust model number: 14165, for Manual corvettes only it says, and it's a Catback system that comes with the X-pipe as well for $1715.... what do you guys think??? IYAOYAS

Corsa is a good system. I have been running Corsa Sports for six years on my 06 LS2 and love them. Pricewise, shop around and look at all the Forum vendors. Prices can vary 2 or 3 hundred dollars depending on vendor and current promotions.

did you do the X-pipe as well or just the short pipes with the mufflers?

I just did the mufflers and short pipes originally behind the stock H-pipe. I'm now running them behind a set of AR headers and AR catted X-pipe.

Corsa would be the route that I'd go.

ask Corsa what are the advantages of using their x pipe. It's a lot of money for minimal gain.

Shop around the Net. I got my Corsa Sport w/X pipe for less, free shipping ( 2 days ) and a $100 gift card, good for my next buy. I got a set of Weather Tech mats for $17 and free shipping. As for the Corsa system, it's the best thing you can do for a first mod. Great sound and no drone. You will not regret it!!!

Another vote for Corsa's. I bought my axle-back system used, from another local forum member for $600.00 and am totally happy with them. My stock, '07 LS-2 has the stock H-pipe and has a very slight burble on decelleration, which I personally like. I've been told that the X-pipes eliminate that feature. Just keep watching the forum adds.
