Default Diff R & R

I had this idea of putting 3.73 gears in my car with a ZR1 heat exchanger.

Well it has evolved to that plus a Quaiffe diff, HD pinion bearing support, bearings and new out put shafts. So for $500 or so more, I bought a new case and am just going to assemble a new whole diff.

Does anyone have any idea how long it should take me to swap out the diff assembly in my garage that has a lift in it.

Thanks!

It's pretty easy. Lower the rear cradle while supporting the tranny with a stand, remove the diff, install the new one, the reinstall the cradle. Couple hours?

Thanks for the feedback! It is winter in Wisconson, so I have free time when I can't drive the car!

2-1/2 hours start to finish in my garage with regular tools, a floor and trans jack and no lift.

Good news! The rest of the parts arrive on Tuesday!

I shipped most of them direct to West bend Dyno so that they can assemble it.
