C6 Suspension Mods / Pfadt suspension review:

For those of you who are looking to improve your handling/grip/suspension.
I wanted to share with you the mods that I thought were worthwhile.

I purchased a base 2008 coupe, non-z51. Car didn't feel tight out of the box, with the targa top off car felt in-stable during sharp turns and quick lane changes.
That was fixed by adding a set of z06 sway bars. It was night and day difference post installation.

However, launch and grip was still a major issue. The stock Goodyear runflats had no traction IMO. I only felt I had grip in third, first and second where often slipping.

Replaced the stock shocks with Pfadt coilovers & and Kumho XS tires and my corvette now handles like its on rails. Doing those mods weren't cheap but it made the power alot more usable, not to mention inspire driver confidence.

I’d like to give kudos to Andy and the guys @ AAcorvette for doing the install. His crew at the shop are top grade and they are the only other shop I would trust my vehicle being modified ex: superchargers , engine work etc...

running the identical set up right down to the tires.....car hadles night and day better and i had the z51 suspension already
