Are there any head to head compairison with headers? Trying to find out real numbers why one is better than the other.
All the good quality headers will be pretty close to each other. The biggest thing is to be realistic in your goals. I personally think if you are staying less than 650ish rwhp then you are better off with 1 3/4" headers for a street car. I ordered Pfadt headers for my C6 because I like the midrange torque curve the tri-y design offers.
You really can't go wrong with any of the major American brands. Kooks, ARH, LG, Pfadt, Stainless Works, and B&B to name a few. Some have had good luck with OBX, but I would personally rather keep my money in America. Even if it costs me an extra few hundred.
A lot of people try to push the 1 7/8" stuff. I went with 1 7/8 on my 05 GTO and I regretted it. I didn't make enough power to justify it. Sure I might have made an extra couple peak HP, but it affected the low and midrange torque.
All of the above headers will give you decent gains. Pick your favorite flavor and order some!

They fit real nice and the quality looked very nice. It also already had a bung for the wide band that I installed, and it was right in the X where it needed to be. The only thing I didn't like was the C claps that came with them. I picked up some stainless band claps locally that I used with them, and that worked great and looked much cleaner.
Even poor quality headers will dyno close...maryland speed posted up the WORST headers i've ever seen with a dyno chart a while back and they were still pretty close above 3500 RPMs. Below that I think they only lost like 5-7. and these things were HORRIBLE.
I went with ARH because I liked the quality and especially because I wanted a ball and socket joint between the collectors and Xpipe. I have read too many slip fit leak problems, and installation of ball and socket joints are much easier to make up.
