Looking through the front grill on my C6 there is a vent or box in the corner and it has 3 holes, one hole has a lever or something sticking out and then there are two empty holes,is there suppose to be bolts or plugs in those holes, its the same on the other side and they both can be shaken up and down because the box is lose.[IMG][/IMG]

i'm not sure. i am wondering if it might be a place to attach the supercharger cooling radiator (if you had one).
here is the full blowup. the 'wings' on item 1 where item 2 fits the 3 hole on both sides iw where your asking. item 13 is a supercharger cooling radiator. my guess only and others can confirm, is that it would attach in your holes your asking about.

anyone else know?

I've had my front bumper off a few times, and at #2, that is bumper shield retainer fasteners (2 for each side) These are removed so the front bumper can be taken off. These plastic retainers are really hard to remove, and most times the fastener is ruined (ask me how I know)
This is a pic of a retainer required.
The dealer or other auto accessories parts store will have these in stock.

Hope this helps out

The "lever" sticking out is actually the outside air temperature sensor whose readout is on your center console. The two holes allow the radiator shroud #5 to be attached to the lower structure #1 with the fasteners you discussed.
