Default Pfadt TriY Headers for 2008 C6

I would like to install a set of Pfadt TriY headers on my 2008 C6 LS3 with NPP. Seems like they will only work on the 2009+ LS3. What do I have to change on my car to make the Pfadt headers work (I need to retain the cats)?

Thanks.

I think the only difference is that the early LS3 cars had a factory h-pipe and the later ones had an x-pipe. I could be wrong though. The other way to do things would be to get a factory Z06 axleback and order a Z06 header system. That's what I did. Mine are getting installed this Tuesday.

In 2009 there was a change in the angles on connection between mid pipe and over axle pipe to mufflers which would require a different mid pipe for 2008 and earlier C6.

Thanks guys. Do you know if the mid pipe is the same diameter on the 2008 and 2009?

Got the answer from Pfadt today. They are finishing up the development of the correct mid/x pipe for the 2008 LS3 and 2005 to 2007 LS2's. Should be availability sometime in March or April.

If you are in a hurry you can have my 2011 stock non-NPP axleback. Just pay shipping.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the kind offer. I appreciate it, but I love my NPP. Just had a snow storm yesterday and there is currently about a foot of snow on the ground, so waiting a few months will not be an issued for me.

No worries. It's sunny and 70F here in Phoenix. Of course by the summer it will be 115F and I will be hating my leather seats.
