Looking for muffler replacment
Have 1 7/8 lts and x pipe just put stock mufflers back on to quiet, have seen a few threads on direct replacment mufflers ,was able to find the magnaflows, but think I would rather go with flowmaster,all i seem to be able to find is axleback systems. Can someone points me in the right direction..... Thanks in advance

Are you looking for a very quiet exhaust? I have LG Superpro headers with no cats and MA Motorworks mufflers and they are extremely quiet. They have some pretty large baffles in them. It doesn't work the best with a supercharger since its a lot of backpressure but they sound amazing. Its actually a PITA because I'm worried any other muffler would be way too loud.
You can hear the supercharger and engine louder than the exhaust unless you're directly behind the car.

I used Summit's mufflers (probably made by Flowmaster as they are exact duplicates only a lot less expensive). Cut exhaust pipe at the muffler right before it necks down to 2 1/2". Welded 3" header flanges on the pipe and on the muffler. So now if I want to try a different muffler all I have to do is weld a flange on it and bolt it in. The muffler has a 13" body with 3" offset inlet and outlet. Mount it on its side so the inlet is up to meet the exhaust pipe and then the outlet is down and straight out. Put Magnaflow 3 to 4" exhaust tips on. Lost 25 lbs too.
