Default Burning too Clean?

C6 LS2...Hurricane intake, Throttle body spacer... Running Supreme 93 Octane...

I drove the car what I thought was hard the last couple of days.. fast take offs, 95mph speeds.. nothing out of the norm.. but i did take notice that my exhaust pipes were really dark with carbon build-up... I have not had a tune since adding the above engine mods... can my air & gas Mixture be off? Installed a B&B muffler set yesterday... is it time for me to get it tuned? or is this regular for these type of cars??

thanks for your help!

Gotone!

Sounds like it is not running clean with carbon build up. My tail pipes are very clean.

A tune would not hurt, except for voided warranty.

Only if GM can PROVE that the tune was the cause of the failure.

See my last few posts...get a good catch can, I'll recommend EE. It's taken @ 500 miles & sopping the oil out of my intake manifold, but the back of my GS is no longer covered in little sooty black gobs & my tail pipes are also cleaner.
