I only made mid 420's with my old LS2. Kooks 1 7/8 headers, no cats, full 3" exhaust, FAST 90, Volant CAI and a 242/248 111lsa cam. Your numbers seem realistic to me. Go run it and see what it MPH's.
What kind of dyno? What is it tuned with? What was the actual timing? Those numbers are pitiful and pretty suspect with a cam that large and making more torque than hp?
Maybe the grind was just wrong. I know this may sound dumb but are you sure you put the bigger cam in it? The numbers would seem right for a car on stock cam with all those mods and no cam.

i agree completly. thats why i am so confused here.
these numbers sound exactly like what you should get with all mods except the cam.
the cam was new in the box and i just looked at the old cam. it has marks from being used. so i must have put in the new cam.
if it was degreed wrong would it have this effect?

What are the specs? Custom? The cam may have been cut wrong, it happens. Or degreed in wrong.
Phil at AI told me it happens all of the time...thats why he offered to measure my cam for free (I just paid for the shipping). The cam was spot on (Thanks Kevin a Schneider Racing Cams).
As far as dynos go, my first dyno got me 314 rwhp...bone stock (mainline dyno)!!! Its just a tool...
That cam, as specced, isn't in your motor. As specced, it will sound and behave WAY different vs stock. I have a Comp cam that is going on a cam doctor next week. It's a mild boost cam that sounded OK, but made very little power. The measured boost is 3 to 4psi over what I thought it should be. I know it's not what I ordered. Big boost and little power.....hmmm.
