i have an 07 z with a h/c/i package making around 600 whp. when purchasing the car it came with a ram twin which i was stoked about but in searching around a little bit on the forums and such I've almost come to the conclusion as the ram twin disc , well, sucks for one i don't want a twin thats going to rattle like crazy, i had an evo with a triple and that **** was annoying and almost embarrassing and i especially don't want that on a z06. the biggest thing though is longevity- i don't want a twin that I'm going to have to replace within 20 or so passes and 10k miles. i don't care about chatter or the on and off engagement so much, this isn't a daily and I've been driving multi disc clutches for years so i know the "tricks" if you will to driving them. so should i sell it or just throw it in?
I had one RAM clutch and it destroyed my slave cylinder with it chattering so hard going into gear. At 600rwhp a stock Z06 clutch is a far better choice. For a dual disc clutch, the LS9 clutch is the best choice.

ratttg ran this clutch and was able to cut decent 60's; however, it was eating itself at the track on each pass. I do not believe it lasted more than what you have quoted. Perhaps Mitch can chime in.

Do not believe that if you you are trying to launch hard.
But how long will the stocker last with passes? I'm going to attempt to take it to the track a couple of times this year at least 10 passes and that includes some street "fun".
