Default Racing help please

My car has magnetic ride control and I do not want to remove it from the car because I like it. The problem I have is that when I launch at the strip my car rebounds after the launch and I lose traction. I found that my 60' is better in the tour mode because it allows it to transfer the weight to the back tires better but it also let's the car rebound back quicker. Has anyone found a trick or cure for this situation? What about a limiting starps on the back?

Remove the front sway and use a Z51 rear sway.

Do you leave the sway bar off all the time? How does it drive on the street without it?

I put it back on when the dragracing season is over in Phoenix. We only really race here in the winter. When the sway is off, I don't notice any difference in normal driving, but I don't do any spirited mountain driving during the winter either.

The pic shows the car still on the ragged edge of pulling the wheels about 5' into the launch. I have some other pics that show it stays up pretty well even 2-3 car lengths out. I've never checked, but I assume the sway bar limits or at least slows the rate of suspension drop. If nothing else, it's 12.5# off the front for a Z51 sway.

If I launch in Sport mode my 60' is slower because the suspension is to stiff. In Tour mode the front end will drop out pretty good but my rebound in greater. I have asked several people about removing the front sway bar but was told it does not make a very big difference. It sounds like you have found success with it and I will give it a try. What about adjusting the ride height of the front or the back of the car?

If you have a non z51 the front bar is 9.3 pounds. I removed mine last year and never put it back on. I currently run my stock non z51 rear as well.

So what does removing the front sway bar do to the handling of the car when you are not at the track? Are you also removing the rear sway bar or are you replacing it with the heavier Z51 sway bar?

If you are asking me, I run both Z51 sways during the summer non-racing season. I don't do any spirited driving with the front one off, so I don't have any issues then.

I honestly could not be sure I even notice the front one off in how it drives/handles. I have the stock one on the rear always.
