I think that is high, just because I would have just done the stuff myself. However, If you look at how much work it is to put aftermarket stuff on... then it really isn't that bad. I take it he did a good job as you are not saying he didn't so you are happy.
If you think he charged you too much then either go somewhere else or talk to him about it.
