Shifter Install Dropped Socket
I was lucky enough to drop a socket into the emergency brake mechanism. I was not able to get it out with a magnetic pickup tool. Does anyone know how to remove the emergency brake if I take out the seat and carpet? If I can pull it away from the tunnel the socket should drop out.

i would laugh but i know it aint funny when it happens. i've dropped stuff into places i never did get back! lol

Dropped a bolt inside a Ford pickup manual trans while putting on a Hurst shifter. Fortunately was able to drain the trans and recover the bolt out the drain hole.
