Default In need of help

Ok so my husband is deployed and I have been given the task of keeping up with our 3 cars. One of which is a Corvette. I went to drive it this morning and the battery is completely dead! I was able to use the key at the truck to open the door and hood. But now I'm not sure what I should do next, to get the battery charged. Do I use jumper cables, a charger, or take it out and go somewhere to have it charged. Any advice would be great!

if you have a trickle charger that would be good....if not jumping it and driving it for an hour or so...

well if you have AAA you can call them....do you have OnStar? if so you can call them and they offer roadside assistance which I would think would provide someone to come start the car...

Go to Napa and buy a trickle charger. They usually go for $30-$40 bucks and are easy to put on.

The Red cable will go to the fuse box which is located on the passenger side of the car under the hood. There is a graphic there to demonstrate where to connect it to. It will go to the cable/stud that is more towards the windshield on the fuse box.

The Black cable will go to a ground bold. You can use one of the bolts on the side of the engine that connects the exhaust headers to the block. This is also on the same graphic.

Since you don't know much about anything under the hood, don't try to do anything yourself. Get AAA or your insurance road service to come over and jump start the car. They can also test the battery to see if it needs replacing and inform you about using a battery tender / trickle charger to keep it charged up while your husband is gone.
