one touch auto-up window module
Has anyone successfully installed an auto-up window module (one-touch up) ??
I can't find anyone on the internets that has done this on a window that has the indexing feature that Corvettes have (and other sports cars).
The problem is these modules want to be wired directly in line with the motor wires (reversing polarity). Our windows are controlled by the BCM to maintain the indexing feature.
example window module:

A few of us have been searching for this and there is no such animal.
I have emailed the inventors of the Window Valet, which seems to be the closest product that might be able to do this. This product can auto window up from the fob so one would think that they could do something similar for when was on the inside.
They never replied to any of my emails.

Thanks for the replies guys. Too bad...all my other less expensive cars have this feature. It is annoying that the Vette does not have this feature.

I know how you feel, my last three cars all had auto up and down, and miss that feature. wish the Corvette could be done, but not going to happen, cause somebody would of done by now. I do have the valet put in the car, which does come in handy.

Many cars have auto-up windows with indexing feature, but not the cheap Vette . I'd have much preferred auto up than auto down . But I've never seen this feature only done half-***. But apparently GM likes everything done half a$$: window auto feature (only down), steering tilt (only power telescopic), seats (no power recliner), and can't remember what else. Oh well.

IMO GM Legal dept.
Auto-up traps neck and fingers.
Cost of frivolous lawsuits.
Not sure what the loophole is now-a-days as I recall they offer auto-up on other GM cars.

Cad XLR had auto up and down. It was built on C-6 platform so not that much of a stretch. My XLR also had power tilt and telescope steering, adaptive cruise control, heated and COOLED seats, and other features that I think are just now being offered in the C-7, ???

Hmmm...you had me thinking..was wondering if the door window switches could be swapped out...but they appear to be different.

Crack the BCM and you will have auto up, it's probably nothing more than a checksum as evidenced by the XLR having the feature.
As for the 'pinch-less' feature, the same way the relay trips going down, it will trip going up, which is, an increase in a set resistance load value opens the relay.
I don't understand why people buy a vette knowing it's limitations and then complain about it being a POS ...

Back in 2006, there were a few vendors that sold a module that plugged into the diagnostic port under the dash that was suspose to provide this window feature. I think it was called Widnow Valet??
Anyway, after there were many complaints about the module effecting the cars' computers (in bad ways!), I think the manufacturers either stopped making them or the vendors stopped selling them.

As stated in an earlier post, the window up feature only works from the Fob, not the indoor switch that the OP is trying to achieve.
Note that a Forum Vendor, Southern Car Parts has been selling the Window Valet since 06.
