C6 LS2 car, manual: C5Z by a car to the top of 3rd.
C6 LS2 car, auto: C6 by a half car
C6 LS3 car, manual: Driver's race
C6 LS3 car, auto: C6 by a car
LS3 auto here - last C5Z that was at the track when I was ran .6 second slower than me - don't know if he had mods but that is a fair amount more than a 1 car lead at the white line.
The c6 ls2 is slower than the z06. The fastest z06 has run a 11.78. The c6 ls3 is 11.71. LS2 is 12.21.
I'm curious - is there a big weight difference between a C5Z and LS2? It just seems that the best e.t.s would be closer considering the max hp on these cars are only 5 hp apart - but a full 1/2 second makes it look more like a 50 hp difference. Maybe a dyno would reveal the C5Z has much better average power throughout the powerband...? Maybe just not enough sample data from stock LS2 cars...
01 C5Z's dyno in the 340 range (close to a bone stock LS2). 02-04 C5Z's dyno in the 355-365rwhp range....couple that with the 200lb weight advantage, it should beat a stock LS2 manual or auto - but as we all know, the driver makes all the difference

The LS2 C6 has a larger rear wheel/tire diameter, reportedly has a higher amount of engine torque management programed in the stock tune and is roughly 70-80 lbs heavier. This all contributes to the difference. Also, the C5Z may be getting a better 60' time as well.
