MagneRide Retrofit..? Help?
Selective Ride Control
The vehicle may have a ride control
system called Magnetic Selective
Ride Control. The system provides
the following performance benefits:
. Reduced Impact Harshness
. Improved Road Isolation
. Improved High-Speed Stability
. Improved Handling Response
. Better Control of Body Ride
Motions

TOUR: Use for normal city and
highway driving. This setting
provides a smooth, soft ride.
SPORT: Use where road conditions
or personal preference demand
more control. This setting provides
more “feel,” or response to the road
conditions.
my answer is not worth the cost. for normal driving, i have it and feel NO difference at all. the cost would be excessive even if you could add it.
replace run flats with NON run flats and you will have a smoother ride and a quieter one too!!!!!!

All the experts have said that trying to add it afterwards is prohibitively complicated and expensive. Considering all the parts in the car that interact with the F55, I expect they are correct.
Koni makes their FSD shocks that are claimed to be soft for the sharp movements of a rough road, but stiff for the slower movements of cornering. Most people say they work well, a few say they feel like just another set of stiff shocks. No personal experience with those, but I replaced th factory shocks on our Z51 suspension with base model shocks because of the bad roads in Illinois. My butt, and my back, say the Z51 springs/sways and the base shocks, give a very nice combination of ride and handling.

The koni shocks are the next best thing. Do a search for koni fsd

Everyone who makes shocks seems to believe his product will provide a nicer ride, better handling, more mpg, and eliminate world hunger. I'm skeptical.

But at $7,637 plus installation I think it would be cheaper to buy a different car with F55.

Looking at the manual looks simple enough to R&R.
All I can do is sit back and wait before posting an outcome. Hope the ride difference it is worth the $.

It's just me, but I ordered all new fasteners etc when I changed my shocks.
