Default Bugs Bugs Bugs

Guys. Just joined the forum. Just want a few expert tips on dealing with bug maintenance.

I will be sporadically driving during summer months and the bugs in SD are crazy. Thinking about just power spraying them off every time. Is there a better way? Does that take wax off? If so does a quick spray wax work in between major cleanings?

Black is amazing when clean but wanting to minimize swirl marks and touching the surface. Any tips greatly appreciated!

I've found that using Rejex according to the instructions, produces a very glossy and (more important) slick finish, that nothing wants to stick to. There will still be a few bugs that do stick on the nose, but they will come off much more easily.

Other sealants/waxes may do as well, but Rejex has been super easy, effective, and long lasting; for me. I haven't bothered to experiment with other products.

Be careful with the power washer, too much enthusiasm can actually strip paint off the car. But some careful use will easily take the bugs off the Rejex.

EDIT:
Here's a picture of our car taken on the first big road trip in 2009, two hours in Nebraska produced what you see. Including the dead bird in the grill.

This was before Rejex, wish I knew then what I know now.
