Default GM rotor numbers

I asked my brother in law who owns an auto parts store to get rotors for a 2007 Z06. I'm upgrading the brakes on my 2002 Z06. It's rotors are not interchangeable in the front or the rear. The rear rotors he got were interchangeable right and left. I ended up with two left front rotors, the tapered vents throwing off air rather than scooping it in as the wheel turns. He claims and two different dealers say that the left and right part # is the same. Does someone know what the correct GM part #'s are? And confirm that the front are not interchangeable. Am I correct in saying the rear are interchangeable? Help

Andy

i'll look it up and send you a PM. it'll have to be a PM because its a non paid vendor that shows prices , not allowed to post in a thread only a PM
sent you second pm... my first PM wasnt for Z06.. grr.. sorry

fyi... parts lookup for rotors always say that the part number is.. 2 required , so yes right and left have identical same part number.

yes backs right and left are interchangeable for 2007(fronts too for 2007)

i looked up a 2007 Z06 front rotors. what appears for cross drilled is this..
ROTOR. Front and Rear Wheel Brake
ROTOR,FRT BRK(CROSS DRILLED)(ACDelco #177-0924). Required: 02
For: YX67 HVY DUTY PWR BRK(J55) (2006-2009) (2006 - 2009).
For: YY HVY DUTY PWR BRK(J55) (2005-2011) (2005 - 2011).
part number 89060328
note that for 2007 Z06 there are 3 different possible, i listed above for cross drilled (1 of the 3 possible). because of so many possible rotors for diferent models, DO NOT assume i am right without checking with dealership or other vendor.
note it says 2 required. that means identical for left & right.
this is a picture of what that part number looks like...

if i misunerstood your question, then above answer(s) dont apply

yes on 2002 Z06 the fronts are different, 1 for left and 1 for right. same for back , it shows 1 for left and 1 for right with different part numbers

They are the same left and right. Front and rear are different, however, as mentioned, they are the same left and right. I would certainly be happy to help you out with the GM rotors!
