Brake Question for the Tech experts?
I recently had a flat tire passenger side front tire, familar, thump, thump, ( Run Flats), at about 60 MPH slowed down to 45 thumping went away, figured it was the tire since had a similar experience with the drivers side about a month ago, something different this time around. My brake pedal went almost to the floor while slowing down. Got home safely checked the tire and sure enough the inside tread was separating. Again I tried the break pedal and it is extremely mushy, the strange part is, I'm not seeing anything leaking on the driveway? I checked the break fluid res. and it is in fact low and color of fluid is black. Tomorrow I'll have the wheel off and have a look around, Just finding it strange there seems to be nothing showing on the ground as far as leaks per say. Could a piece of the tire cut thru the break line? I'll give it a better look tomorrow any hints or suggestions would be helpful,
