2005 Corvette LS2 402
We had a 2005 Corvette M6 come into the shop a few months back. It just received a HKE 402 and the engine was installed by the customer. It was brought to us for tuning. It also had:
HKE LS2 402
Ported 243 Heads
FAST 102 Intake Manifold
NW 102 Throttlebody
LG Street Headers
Halltech Venom II AIS
After the dyno tuning session, this one put down 464.8 rwhp and 460.7 ft-lbs. Of course, there is still some upside to this build.
The cable that runs from the starter to the alternator fell on to the header and blew a hole in it. This was a opportunity to install a new set of headers and give the 402 a needed Halltech MF103. The calbe was replaced and I do not like splicing power cables. I usually get power cable and all the needed connections from Parts Express. After was all said and done, here was the difference.
