Default A/C problem

The A/C on my 05 corvette is only blowing hot airfrom the drivers side while the passenger side operates normal. Yes it was at a shop but they claim not thier issue. I would think wires were not hooked up correctly any suggestions or should I just take it to the dealer?

you said it was at a shop.
question 1) was the a/c not functioning properly BEFORE going to that shop
question 2) what was/did that shop do to your car, the area they were working on
question 3) are you saying the a/c was working ok before the shop and not working ok after?

just as a side note, i believe there are actuators that move parts (like shades) inside the unit, thats where usually the problem is when air moves incorrectly or fails to move properly.

this is a blow-up of the a/c unit. i think (but not positive) that the shades are item #1. the actuator is item #8, there are 2 of them(i know it show 3 of them but parts list says 2 required). also #29 is an actuator.

i am not a a/c unit repair person, but from what i can tell...
the purple area is for the dash vent air controling (i assume its ok)
the brown circle area is the shades , you say your getting air where is supposed to go, just wrong temp , so i would venture to guess your shades are ok.
the green area is the passenger temp actuator so i assume its ok if your getting ok colling/heat on passenger side.
the red area would be driver side, so that might be the problem area.
again, i dont know, its just an educated guess

others with real repair knowledge can now chime in

also try everything. flashers, cd. nav, radio, and stuff, see if they failed to connect up anything else

They touched something to cause your issue.

The actuators are the culprit and usually when this happens they need to be replaced.

But.......in your case, since this just "coincidentally" started after being at a shop, I suggest trying what is admittedly a "long shot". Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes then reconnect and try the system. And remember you'll have to re-index the windows after reconnecting the battery.

Like I said, a long shot but it's free and easy so might be worth the effort.

Let us know.
