Default PCV Options

Now I have been reading and researching on this for a while now. There are so many different set ups and opinions that there really is no definite answer.

My set up is a forged 370 iron block, H/C/I and a small 150 shot.
Ive narrowed my options down to 2 different set ups

1. Run a isolated catch can with no lines running back to the intake.
Pro:Eliminate the pcv all together and have no oil at all get into the intake
Con: No vacuum pulling any of the gasses out of the crankcase.

2. Run a LS6 pcv, cap off valve covers and run the lines to a catch can and back the the intake.
Pro: Still have vacuum pulling some of the gasses out of the crankcase
Con: Possibly getting a small amount of oil still in the intake.

We all know how beneficial running a vacuum pump would be but im not going that route. I guess im wondering what the lesser of 2 evils would be? Thoughts? Comments?

i spent some time last night trying to figure out stock PCV with catch can and my Edelbrock sc with catch can.

there are many ways i found to route to a catch can.
this isnt your answer, but for a LS3 , here is what i made for myself.

i had added to pics at the bottom showing flow. i must have found 4 others that folks used, but i just needed something for myself to understand the most common ways..
