Air Bag Light On
The other day i noticed my air bag light is staying on. When i start her the light flashes 5 times, then stays lite. is it trying to tell me something like where the problem is. ???

Please do a search and you will find picture of the yellow air bag connector under the rear of each seat. Move the seat forward as much as possible and you will find the yellow connector clipped to the seat frame in the rear. Zip tie around each connector as tightly as possible and the light usually goes away permanently - at least for most people.

Here you go, the likely culprit.
This is the connector for the inboard seat belt pre-tensioner. I took the car to the dealer many times with no luck. They finally said a code was set for the drivers pre-tensioner. It was replaced under GMPP and all was good for six months or so. The intermittent light returned. I found these connectors at the back of the seats frame and zip tied them and have had no problem since. My thought is the loose connection caused the code. I'm sure that was close to several years ago.
