Default What is the correct c6 z51 front spring

Just bought this GM part #22171750 from a guy on EBay Is this for the C5Z and Z51 C6? Can't figure it out.

A quick search shows this is probably an early C5 Z51/Z06 spring. I don't think it's quite as heavy as a C6 Z51 but you should check with the C5 guys to be sure. They probably have a chart handy over there.

What I/the buyer want to know is why GM has different part numbers/ casting numbers. And under scrutiny by an SCCA official, will they know that these are legal T1 springs?
