Aloha gang,*Car is an 06 z51 6 speed manual with 42,000 miles. Everything seems fine with the car, but one issue is I will be driving along in say 4th gear at a cruising speed with throttle say 25%. If I push the pedal down to say 75%, it doesn't immediately respond. About a second later the Rpms will go up, car accelerates then down again. Feels alot like an auto trans downshifting. Hard to explain really. Clutch fluid is full, clutch holds fine when drag racing. This also happens in every gear. I'm thinking there's some sort of throttle issue. Any thoughts

Thanks man.
Didn't realize the manuals had any kind of torque management. When I turn off the traction control, the same thing still happens. Doesn't happen if I go full throttle or drag race off the line.
If you can get the engine rpm to go up without the car speed going up, then you have a clutch that is slipping. A manual trans solidly links the driveline to the engine so that their speeds move in lockstep. If they do not, then the clutch is the culprit. I agree that it is hard to explain, but if I am understanding correctly, the clutch is slipping.
