Installing PFADT's Tri-Y
My heads are on the way back and I should have them by early next week. One of the new goodies I have to install are my new header/X-pipe system on my Z06.
Are there any tips or tricks that make these headers any different to install than the LG's I took off the car?
Just curious about fitment.

I used a couple small pieces of 2x4 between the x-pipe & the tunnel, towards the back where they spread out to the cat back system, & this really helped center the system in the tunnel before final torque on the header bolts & v-band clamps.

Leave everything slightly loose, header bolts, v-band clamps, and muffler clamps after you install all the parts. Then line everything up, center the x-pipe in the tunnel, line up the muffler tips, then tighten the header bolts, v-band clamps next, muffler clamps last.
