Default Baffle/Fuse

Hi I have a 2009 COrvette and I understand that a fuse can be removed to make the exhaust sound better. Is there any reason not to do this and can it cause any problems? Other thing is how do you do it?
Thanks for the help.

Your cars needs to have the NPP option Look behind the exhaust tips and see if there are valves on the two inner pipes Or just look up inside the tips and see if there are flaps
If you have that option you can pull the fuse in the passanger side footwell Botton right or look in your owners manual for the exhaust fuse location Hope this helps GL

I pulled the fuse on mine and the only adverse affects that I know of are the dirty looks you get from people who don't like all that noise. I pulled the NPP fuse on mine when I got it home from the dealer the first day. Love the sound.

Check this youtube video out that shows how its done from Corvette blogger.

As carsangelop said above, check to see if you have the dual mode performance exhaust with butterfly valves on the inner set of exhaust tubes. The video shows what the valves look like. They are impossible to miss.
