Default Battery vent / tubing

My old battery did not have a vent tube attached to it. But did have the two vent holes at the side. The one closest to the passenger fender was plugged with a red cap and the other end open.

My new battery is the same way, I installed yesterday it in about 5 minutes. I am going to buy a vent tube and install it.

What would be the best routing for the tube or is there a tube there already and I just don't see it?

The vent tube is only needed for batteries mounted in the rear passenger compartment to ensure hydrogen is vented outside - any model with the dry sump reservoir under the hood. If your battery is under the hood no vent tube is required.

There are batteries that require no venting. The Odyssey is a dry cell AGM built to military specs that requires no venting.
