Default 2005 hvac issues

Last fall here before i put car away for storage my heater/ac system was all messed up. first no heat, then some heat out some vents, and controle head always shows were its blowing out, but only blows out at dash vents even if it shows at floor ? on control head. - I did have dealer check codes [ which i dont have at moment ] but there was about 7 codes, and then said they would have too start with the blend air door actuator replacement and also check a vacuum unit on hvac.
My question whats involved in me changind blend door actuator [ have one ] and where is it located and is it a def dash removal..

Yea, the dash has to come out. There are 4 actuators in there. The general recommendation is, if you are going to the effort and expense to replace one then you should do all of them. Otherwise you are running the risk of having to do it all again in a few months, a year, etc. when the next one goes bad.
