Check Engine Light: Code U0073
Check engine light came on the other day and finally went to Autozone to have them read what code it was throwing. It turned out to be U0073. I did a quick search, but I'm not very mechanically inclined so it was a little over my head. I am registered for the Houston 1/2 mile event next weekend. I am not sure if I can get car to the shop before then. Can someone explain in layman's terms what the code means and will I be ok to run it in Houston before going to the shop? Or is it something that's needs to be addressed before then. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Well, it can be simple or major. That particular code means that any of the items in the attached file are having communication issues.
Personally, I'd sure try and get it checked out. I'd hate to lose communication with a couple of the items listed on the file.
