Default Suggestions?

Hello all, just bought my vette yesterday and I'm already planning mods... I know some guys are purests and enjoy a stock cars character.... to each his own, I prefer speed. Ha, I'm on deployment currently and will be capable of spending a couple thousand on it when I return. I will drive it for the first time in August... mods will come shortly after. Ha... I'm considering a catted ARH 1 7/8" kit with 3"x3" X-pipe plus the Corsa Sport kit meant for a Z06 (PN 14164 for 3" piping the whole way). I figure this will be closer to 2500 but that's manageable. Any suggestions for me? I plan on keeping it NA... for awhile at least. What other good bolt-ons are there for power? Callaway Honker, FAST 102 Intake, Skip Shift Eliminator, FAST 102 throttle body???

thanks for your service .

You need to realize that your car will require a tune after the exhaust.
you may also want to do the t-stat @ $20 with the exhaust. the skip shift can be tuned out at that time. keep in mind that the tune will set you back @ $500

all those options are great, but unless you have done some head / cam work their benefits will not be offset by the cost.

Also what year and engine did you get.

good luck and enjoy.

Keep looking on here for used exhaust parts. I just did headers all the way back to Borla stringers for a fraction of the cost.

They make some cable driven units for aftermarket LS2/3 installations in F-body or hot rods, but you're not going to be able to very easily get rid of the throttle-by-wire accelerator pedal and throttle body on a C6 without going with an aftermarket PCM.
