Default Oil/coolant temps

Took my car to a local closed road course yesterday and did 4-5 laps. I wasn't very high in the rpms because I should have been shifting from 2nd to 3rd, but the syncros in 2nd are bad, hence I stayed in 3rd the entire time. Car has a built nitrous motor, wasn't using nitrous, dewitts radiator, larger oil cooler, mezeire ewp, and runs royal purple 15w-40 oil. Each lap took aprox 1:15 or so and when I was finished with the last lap the oil temp was around 245 and coolant temp was around 217. I believe the temp was around 80-84 with 90%+ humidity. I'm just trying to make sure these numbers aren't crazy high as I'd like to do this again.

Thanks,
Brett

I appreciate the response Ernie. It was tons of fun, first time I've ever taken any of my vettes around some real turns. I definitely need to get some aftermarket seats though. I'd post the video, but I don't want everyone to make fun of me! Haha

Those are my typical temps in city driving. Oil might be a little higher than normal driving temps. You're golden. Do you normally run much cooler than that when you don't race?

Normally my oil and coolant temps are in the 190s and get as high as 210.

That's what I like to hear! I have such terrible luck sometimes haha. It makes me into a hypochondriac.
