I am trying to get the 3rd brake lite assembly off the car...I have removed the 4 nuts...but the assembly still won't come loose.
I know there is a lot of sealant and I can get the two ends to come up but not the center. I can't see any more studs up there..
Do I just have to keep working the piece up until it finally releases from the stickum? Or What?!!

Yup..got that off, but still no joy...
What I found is that the two center hole were imperfectly molded and when the 3rd light assembly was installed, the studs were jammed through the holes...creating a one way lock, if you may.
A bit of 'persuasion', got them to come out and all was peachy from there.
As long as I have that off...Will the new, GM full width spoiler, come with a 3rd brake light, or does the who unit fit over the existing 'spoiler' with the 3rd light in it.
