Slow down, no problem then. Who drives over 100 mph any more anyway. Around here they throw you in jail.
did you ever think he might be doing it on a "TRACK" where its legal.. I hit 120 mph every weekend at Raceway Park... and on a track have had my car up to 150 mph... Thats about it's TOP speed as I have it geared for the 1/4 mile.. I'm NOT interested in running the standing mile, or top speeds.. so to me it WOULD pose a problem as my car run about 120 in the 1/4
I think if the OP has aftermarket wheels he should start looking at them 1st...
Take the car to a reputable tire shop, and see how each wheel looks when its on the balancing machine...
Also if it is still not right and you had "aftermarket wheels, or "replacement" wheels I personally would take the tire OFF and put the wheel on the machine with "NO" tire on it, and look to see if is not out of round or if it has any side to side variance (wiggle) for lack of a better word...

Yes they were rebalanced ! Who wouldn't rebalance new tires ! And yes I take it on a local track where I can go 100+ !!! Stock wheels, which were balanced, with the same type of Goodyears that came with it !! Just trying to figure out what the problem could be ! And you've never driven your vette over 100mph !!!!
Seeing as you are a new member it is not surprising to have some freshmen questions from new members.
Just because you replaced with alike tires this means nothing, really thinking it does?
Could be a torque tube problem since you are tracking the car.
Is the vibration in the steering wheel or felt more on the floor?
Gotta give some more information for help to be better.
Ask around your track, there must be a wealth of knowledge present.
Seems to be a fairly high speed vibration It would not take much so maybe a better tire balance being sure to take it up to higher speeds. I might stand corrected but I thought the usual tire balance machine only test up to around 80 mph......?
