Default People with coilovers- thoughts?

Thinking about getting the LG GT2 setup. Looking to hear feedback from daily drivers.

Some of them decrease ride height. I assume the LG doesn't do this (fully adjustable ride height?).

How was installation?

Also, is my Z51 setup worth anything (shocks and springs) w/ 14k miles on it?

I did the installation by myself in my garage. Took the better part of a day. They were the fix to my problem. I had a SC put on the car and the nose went down because of the weight. I cranked up the OEM adjusters and didn't get the front back to where it belonged. The coil-overs gave me the ability to get the height back up to set the car square again.

I love them.

Had the Pfadt Featherlights on my 2005. The ride was harsh compared to the stock Z51 but the handling was insane. The ride height is also fully adjustable. Some day I might do coilovers on my 2013, but since it has MSRC I will stick with that for now.

We have several install shops that carry our products out there. Shoot me a PM and I can set you up with one! You really can't beat the quality and handling of our coilovers, and when combined with our matched sway bars, you create a world class car.

Aggressor I Package
[1150010] $3,470.00

If your HPDE experience has you wanting more out of your Corvette, the Aggressor I Package is the perfect first step.

The Pfadt Aggressor I Package Includes:

Pfadt C6 Adjustable Coil Overs
Pfadt C6 Race Sway Bars - Light Rate
Pfadt C6 Camber Kit

Our Pfadt Adjustable Coil Over and Race Sway Bar systems increase the overall spring rate of your Corvette without compromising ride quality when you're not at the track. When upgrading any suspension set up, the most important result is that the shocks and sways work well together out of the box AND provide the driver with basic tuning tools to dial in the perfect set up for the car.

Our Coil Over and Sway Bar combination work amazingly well to keep maximum tire contact with the track. The coil overs increase the overall spring rate of the car without making the damping harsh. We supply recommended starting points that offer a well balanced, well engineered setup that we actually run on our own cars. It’s the best of both worlds on and off the track! Our Race Sway Bars provide superior anti-roll stiffness and are a crucial tuning tool. We recommend starting with our settings and following our basic guidelines if you decide to make changes.

The Aggressor I Package is ideal for the track day enthusiast who also uses the car on the street. If the adjustability intimidates you it’s only because it’s something new for you – not because it’s actually hard to do. Moreover, if you don’t want to adjust them, you don’t have to. This package is designed to bolt on and trim seconds from your lap times!

The final step in your upgrade is the Pfadt Camber Kit. You'll spend a lot of money getting a performance alignment done on your car - don't let that setting change just because you hit a pot hole, drop two wheels off the track or bang into some FIA curbing! It's a known issue that the factory eccentrics are prone to slipping. Our camber kit allows you to achieve the maximum negative camber and eliminates the eccentrics so that the the settings don't slip. You'll be able to get more negative camber with our kit than is possible with the stock set up.

If you are looking for great handling it is probably the best upgrade on the market. I have the Pfadt Feather Lights and love them. Ride height is reduce approx 3/4 of an inch if following their spec but it is adjustable. Ride quality will go down on rough roads and more sound will be transmitted into the cabin. That is just what happens when you get rid of those big rubber isolators that come with stock shocks. But response is fantastic with coilovers, so much better than stock.

maybe I'm missing something but what does the Johnny O’Connell Signature Suspension Stage 2 package have? Is it just the coilovers and sway bar?

I ask before it costs more than the coilover kit ( $2,190.00) and sway bars ($625) total ling $2815 if purchased separately. Price for the package is $3790. What is the other ~$1000?

Are you guys removing the mono spring? On my 85, I removed the mono spring for true Coilover ride and height adjustment

I'm looking into CO's for my 05, but I'm wondering about the mono on the C6

I have the LG GT 2s.

Firm, controlled ride. Exactly what I wanted.

Second best mod to the car....first being H/C/I.

I'm considering demodding my car a bit and taking my phadt featherlites off if anyone is interested. They are the new design with the dampner adjusters on the bottom.

The JOC stage 2 has different valving than the standard Featherlights and they are more geared towards a tack enthusiast (more aggressive damping)

Also, the 625 you quoted is for a JOC stage 1 sway bar, the stage 2 uses an upgraded sway bar which is fully adjustable front and rear
