Extra m8 bolts FAST LSXR
Installed a LSXR intake on my LS7 according to the manual and got 10(!) M8 bolts extra and also 2 short m6 bolts.
Have I missed something or are these extra for some other use? The m6 bolts are shorter then the short ones for the lid. Aprox 1 inch.

Can answer this myself. These are of course not extra but should replace the bolts on top of the engine. My car already had flat screws so I did not understand it referd to these.
Failing to change these might crack the intake.

Those are for the valley cover, as you discovered. The manifold will go on if you leave the stock ones in, but when you torque it down the manifold will crack when it hits the stockers. If you did this, I would pull the manifold and examine it for damage.
