Default How Much Corrected Alt. Can Affect Your ET

My car (exactly as it is) has run 11.597 @ 118 mph back in early March at Atco Raceway...

All I have is a Tune (by Cartek) Kooks Headers, Ported stock Intake, & a FTI 2800 converter... I would run consistent 11.6x all day..The Corrected Alt. was - 800'

Well I was a Englishtown today 101 deg and the best run I had was 11.97 thats over .3 FULL TENTHS just due to the bad summer air.. today the Corrected Alt was 3300'

God I really feel bad for you guys who live out West in the Mountains when the Corr Alt is over 5000' the cars must feel like your driving a Pirus.. or Electric Honda...

Today sure makes me appreciate the GREAT NJ air was get early & late in the racing season..

It's just not possible for people in Denver or Tucson to get negative DA without ice crystals forming on their breath and frozen nose hair.

It even has to get below freezing to go negative in Phoenix. So on the extremely slim chance it does, the track won't allow anyone to run due to the lack of traction.

But what the heck, Sacramento is only 750 miles away. It's an easy one day trip to get good air.

It's currently 5300 in Phoenix.
