Default TPMS Trigger point?

i believe right now under 24# the DIC shows the "low tire pressure" warning...

is there anyway to LOWER that value? or is it hard coded in the BCM?

No way!

I bet you've got DR's and want to run them at a low pressure - is that right???

345/35/18 Mickeys out back.. and these barely hook.. ill have to eventually move to a 15.. and while I run them at 18cold/20ish warm... I don't want to get rid of TPMS because if I get a Flat I want to know... I just wish I could set the annoying " OMG YOUR TIRE PRESSURE IS LOW" warning a little higher.

Some of the drag racers put 2 tpm in airtight PVC cannisters then put them in one of the rear storage bins.

not an option.. Because I would still like the use of the TPMS system incase I actually do have a flat.

If you have a tpms tool all you have to do is simple reprogram.

My meaning is to program the canister set when racing and program the dr's after race. Just a thought

which does nothing to help me when I drive It on the street.. having the message pop up does nothing to impact power or anything.. I just don't want the message popping up.. all I want is to change the PRessure threshold for the MEssage.

I think you're missing what I'm saying but no matter you can't change the setting.
