it's an 08 z06 has the small maf that fits in the airbridge.will try what you said thanks no light has come on

when did it start running bad ? did you remove it ? could you have installed it backwards ? try cleaning with MASS SAFE CLEANER and look for the arrow on the housing.
if not those are cheap.

the only way I know to test it is to use a scanner that can gives you the value that it sees. something like 5 g/s to @ 150 g/s from idle to WOT
