Default 05 vette head upgrade

Ok guys looking for some advise as to which heads I should go with. I have a ls2 with custom grind cam 612/615 lift and lg long tubes . question is I have a set of 823 and a ls3 vette intake to go with them. just wondering should i go with the 823's or should i just pony up and buy trick flows ??

why not just go with the 243s get them ported

Will porting my 243 yield as much as l98 or trick flows ?

I put LS3 heads on my LS2 and was very happy.

This is before I added a strocked LS3 short block.

Thanks for the reply if you dont mind me asking did you mill them down? If so I'm also worried about ptv clearance

I'd recommend the Trickflows. They are tried and true & deliver the highest dyno numbers and track times (usually 500+ rwhp with a good sized cam).

Here is my head swap thread if you are interested. If you are doing the swap yourself pay attention to post 12 and notch the power steering reservoir. That reservoir and power steering bracket is a PAIN to RnR, notching the bracket will help.
