Default Ideas?

I am having my door panel removed tomorrow in order to locate a clunking sound when hitting minor bumps. I hope to be watching. What should I watch for when interior drivers door panel is being removed and trying to locate the noise. Noise seem to disappear when pressure was maintained on door panel when driving? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Good possibility it's one or more of the fasteners has failed somehow. Used to be pretty common but not so much since about '08-'09. Here are a couple discussions for ideas.

Help with Noise
Just had the drivers door panel removed to locate source of a clunking sound NOT a rattle. Could not find anything. The noise occurs only when door is closed and window up. When I am driving with window down no noise at all, once window is up a bump is hit I hear the sound. When sitting in car and window up door closed I hear the sound when I bang on the upper left of door panel. When door opened and window up no noise is heard when I bang on the same area. Any ideas? Everything was checked for tightness and alignment.
