2005 C6 exhaust

I have the 50 series Flowmaster on my car and want it a little angrier sounding. Would putting a single chamber muffler do the job? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thx

Dump the flowmaster and switch to Xtreme or Bullets!

What's that run ya...and how much of a difference? I've had good compliments on the sound but looking for the growling sound no matter what rpm level I'm at.

You can get Bullets anywhere from $900-1100 and Xtreme from $1200-1500. You can find some pretty good prices in the used section from time to time.

Flowmasters are great on Mustangs. Corvettes need Bullets! Not just the sound, but with no mufflers, full 3" pipes all the way, and lowest backpressure on the market, you get a very nice hp gain. Had them on my '06, ordered them for my '13 before I even picked up the car. The Borla Atak is a direct copy of the B&Bs, but for a lot more money. A lower cost alternative would be SLP Loudmouths. Not as good as the Bullets, but you save about 2 bills.
