Which Performance Exhaust?
Okay so I may be getting a 2007 z06. I sold my 05 base and it had a corsa extreme. I liked the sound, but I felt like it needed more of a muscle tone to it. I want something pretty loud but don't want to run straights. If anyone has suggestions that would be great!
Mufflers = 2hp gain
Headers = 25hp gain
Don't waste your money on the mufflers. Call Maryland Speed and get a smoking deal on 1-7/8" headers with cats. Then get an air intake and a tune and you should be up 40rwhp

Here are some options you may want to check out:
- B&B Bullet is loud and aggressive - not for the meek or mild http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/corvette/c6/
- B&B PRT provides an aggressive (but not as loud as Bullet) exhaust note under hard acceleration, and a quieter and drone-free sound at cruise http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/corvette/c6/
- B&B Fusion is bi-modal exhaust (like the NPP). It can be set to "loud" or "quiet" via a dash mounted switch. Loud sounds like the Bullet. Quiet sounds like the PRT. We have a retrofit kit for installation on non-NPP equipped cars http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/corvette/c6fusion/
. Well, I saved money over the named brands and went with mid america's quad thunder. It is a head turner. There is mild drone while cruising, but nothing to make one want to take the system off. Mild acceleration is beautiful, while aggressive is racecar wild. Idle is nice and deep with a healthy blast when the car is started. If you don't enjoy a good feel of the exhaust when driving, don't get this system. It changes the personality of the vehicle, but in a muscular way.
I've been going around in the same circles. This thread had a lot of sound clips for me to compare which helped a lot
